Mark out a field of 30m x 40m (the penalty area + an adjacent area of equivalent size). Form 3 teams of 6 players. Place 2 teams on the field and the other outside.

The goal of the game is to maintain possession.
The players of the third team waiting outside are used as neutral support players. Neutral players can only play a long ball if they play in 2 touches. They can play a short or long ball if they play in one-touch play.

Variation: When the team in possession of the ball completes 7 consecutive passes, it stays on the field while the other two teams switch roles.

Emphasize to your players the importance of staying focused during the game, especially for the support players:
  • Ask the support players to play as much as possible in one-touch play.
  • Remind them that for a quick pass, good body orientation is essential.
