Animation: Finishing exercise with diamond passing game
In front of the goal, set up 4 cones to form a diamond and place 2 players per cone. The rest of the players position themselves at the starting cone with the ball source (see animation).

The drill proceeds as follows:
  1. The 1st player (A) will start with dribbling and then make a pass to the 2nd player (B).
  2. The latter will perform a one-touch play to the 3rd player (C) who will play into the path of the last player (D).
  3. D finishes the drill with a shot and then the sequence resumes from the ball source.
  4. Each player moves to the next cone (the one where they made their pass)

Opposite side variation with finishing
The first variation you can implement is to simply alternate sides. By playing on the other side, it will allow your players to work on different shooting angles.

Variation 1: alternate sides

Variation with 2v1 finishing
In this evolution, you will place a defender who will start behind the goal. You will then ask the 3rd player to join the action by offering a solution in front of the goal to create a 2v1 situation.

Variation 2: 2v1 situation

This exercise is ideal for working on shooting following a give-and-go. To effectively work on shooting, your instructions should focus on movement, positioning, and gathering information before the shot. The final objective for the shooter is to find themselves in the best conditions when taking the shot at the end of the passing sequence.
