Simple drill to set up but allows working on the diamond shape from different angles and through various combinations. This is actually a drill used by the German national team during a training session.
On half of the field, place 4 cones to form a diamond as shown in the diagram. Then set up 4 mannequins (or constri-foot) to serve as a fictitious back line, as well as 2 mini goals. Then place 1 player at each cone, with 2 on the cone closest to the goals.
