About this cycle

This cycle develops the ability to play quickly forward and attack the depth as soon as the situation allows. The work focuses on forward passes, the immediate forward run of attacking players, and exploiting opponent's imbalances. The sessions emphasize good timing between the ball carrier and the runs, getting open behind the defense, and quick attacking transition, with the aim of quickly hurting the opponent.

Cycle objectives

  1. Play forward to unbalance the opponent.
  2. Make quick forward runs into depth upon recovery or opening.
  3. Find the right timing between the pass and off-the-ball runs.
  4. Create danger quickly by attacking the space.
