Inspired by Diego Simeone (Atlético Madrid), this session is ideal for working on the defensive-to-attacking transition in the defensive third of the field, as well as the attacking-to-defensive transition and pressing upon losing possession. It consists of a warm-up followed by several exercises in the form of small-sided games (with numerical disadvantage). The objectives of the session are to establish a coordinated press upon losing possession, to communicate, and to work on decision-making under pressure to avoid the opponent's counter-pressing.
Used by coaches to plan sessions faster, with new drills every week.
