This small-sided game, used by Vicente Del Bosque during a training session at Real Madrid, is ideal for working on smooth transitions in midfield and quickly getting into goal-scoring situations.
Description
On a field approximately 40x30m, mark out 3 zones including 2 final third zones of 10m each, as well as a central zone 20m long, as shown in the diagram. Then form 2 teams of 7 players including a goalkeeper, who will position themselves as follows:
• 3vs3 in the central zone
