Inspired by a workshop used by Vicente Del Bosque at Real Madrid, this exercise helps work on the timing of the pass as well as movements before and after receiving the ball. You can apply it as is for U12-U13 or adjust the distances to use it in other age groups.
Mark out a first square of about 15m per side. In the center of this square, place a 2nd smaller square, about 5m per side. Start with 2 balls located in 2 opposite corners (see animation). Finally, place 2 players at each outside cone and one player at each corner of the central square.
