Animation: "Juego de Posición" in possession 3v3 + 2 at high intensity
Mark out a square of about 20x20m and form 3 teams. A first team of 3 players, a second team of 3 players, and finally a last team of 2 players. The team of 2 players will serve as jokers and will always play with the team that has possession.

Place a blue player on each of the 2 opposite sides of the square and the last one in the center. All the red players are inside the square. The yellow players, who are jokers, position themselves on the remaining 2 sides.

The exercise starts with the blue team performing possession with the help of the 2 yellow jokers. So it's a 5vs3. The red team will perform a high-intensity press to try to recover the ball and close the angles. If the red team recovers the ball, they switch with the blues (who then all find themselves inside the square) and perform a counter-pressing to try to recover the ball as quickly as possible.

Note that the players on the sides are not untouchable. The defending team can very well press one of these players, even the jokers.

This is the type of exercise where you will need to raise your voice to encourage your players to quickly refocus on the game after losing the ball. Placing the players on the sides of the square naturally opens up the play, which will encourage the team in the center to defend together.

Also, provide a source of balls to quickly supply the players and maintain a high pace throughout the exercise.
