Athletic circuit with interval training in 20-20 (then 10-10) for short and intense efforts. Used in several Premier League clubs, it is ideal at the start of the season and can be offered at all levels from ages 16-17.
Place cones (or markers) to form a slalom over approximately 25m. Then place 3 markers on a single line as indicated in the diagram, over a distance of about 40m. The drill is performed without a ball at the start of the slalom circuit and at about 75-80% of max HR.
